Opportunity Uniting Resources (OUR) LLC is an Supported Living Services (SLS) organization dedicated to helping adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities live independently in their own homes-rather than in group homes or institutions.
The Core Misson of OUR is to provide whatever assistance is necessary for an individual to maintain a safe, stable, and independent life in a home they lease or own themselves.


Dallas Ledet
Dallas Ledet is a dedicated and compassionate leader with over 18 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. His career spans across ILS, SLS, Adult Residential Facilities, Behavioral Management Day Programs, and Developmental Centers, where he has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to advocacy, inclusion, and empowering others to live self-determined lives.
Dallas brings a wealth of leadership experience and community engagement to his role. He has previously served as Head of Community Relations and played a pivotal role in opening the first Enhanced Behavioral Services Home in Ventura County. His work is marked by a strong focus on collaboration, communication, and the dignity of every individual.
Dallas holds a master's degree and continually pursues opportunities for lifelong learning, with a strong interest in human development and psychology. He is actively involved in several community efforts, including his role with Creole Culture Advocates (CCA) of Southwest Louisiana and his engagement with the Shriners Hospital. He regularly participates in legislative visits and meets with local and statewide representatives to advocate for better services and support for vulnerable populations.

Psychosocial Support & Community Inclusion
Supported Living goes beyond physical care to provide holistic Psychosocial Support.
1.Building Networks : A key part of psychosocial support is preventing isolation. Staff actively support individuals to maintain relationships, make new friends, and engage in meaningful community activities to foster a true sense of belonging.
2. Emotional & Social Well-being:
Support workers help individuals build confidence, manage mental health triggers, and develop resilience.

A Home of Their Own
The right to live in a private residence (apartment or house) that they lease or own, not a facility

With a career dedicated to the disability services community since 2006, Araceli Hernandez brings two decades of compassionate leadership and specialized experience to her role as Program Manager. She possesses a deep understanding of the full spectrum of care, having successfully navigated roles ranging from House Manager of and Adult Residential Facility (ARF) to Program Supervisor for a Supported Living Agency.
Araceli diverse background includes extensive work in Supported Living Services (SLS), Independent Living Services (ILS), Tailored Day Services (TDS), and Behavior Day Programs. Notably, she has specialized individuals with complex needs. Araceli is known not only for her technical knowledge but for her ability to boost team morale and foster a supportive environment where both staff and the individuals we support can thrive.

Jose Serrano brings a valuable combination of practical field experience and academic dedication to his role as Case Coordinator. With a background in case management, Jose specializes in supporting individuals with severe displayed behaviors, applying a patient and knowledgeable approach to complex situations.
Currently pursuing a major in Psychology at Oxnard College, Jose is actively expanding his theoretical understanding of human behavior to complement his hands-on work. He is deeply committed to his professional growth and looks forward to applying his expanding skillset to serve the individuals supported by OUR with compassion and excellence.

Expect to Be in the Driver's Seat!
The most important thing to expect is that you make the decisions. Unlike other places you ,might have lived, in SLS, you are not "placed "somewhere; you choose where you live.
We do not bill private health insurance directly. OUR services are typically funded 100% through Tri-Counties Regional Center. If you or your loved is a participant of TCRC, our services would be authorized and paid for at no cost to you.
Support is 100% tailored to you. Common tasks include:
1.Personal Care (bathing, dressing)
2.Meal planning and cooking
3.Household chores and maintenance.
4.Budgeting and paying bills
5.Medical appointments and medication management.
6.Community Outings and socialization
Eligibility is determined by the regional center. Generally, it is for adults (18+) with a qualifying disability who want to live independently, regardless of the severity of their disability.
